Rob tu mo bhoile, comdi cride
(Sung to the tune of AHB 455)

Humbly we seek you, sweet Jesus our Lord.
Our souls dear comfort, is found in your word.
Bless us with wisdom, our souls delight.
Make ready our hearts, prepare us this night.

For mercy we pray, repentance of sin.
With your assurance, our vigil begins.
To you we call out, to you we plead.
Be our true consort, your spirit to lead.

Trusting in you Lord, we vow to be true .
Our shields and our swords, we pledge these to you.
Our lives and our souls, in you we trust.
Whose mercies are sure, and judgement is just.

To you be all praise, and honour be done.
As you shall lead us, the battle is won.
Blessed redeemer, our strength and our power.
Be our one saviour, in that divine hour.

By your atonement, you most holy dove.
Cleanse and renew us, by your divine love.
For should we stumble, or should we die.
In you Lord Jesus, our souls shall rely.
