Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • extra flour as needed


Instructions:

  • Blend together the butter, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  • Sift flour in mixing and kneading as you do this.
  • Add small amounts (Tablespoons) of extra flour until it is firm.
  • Role the dough out to 1/2 and inch.
  • Use cookie cutters to make the shapes you want.
  • Place on cookie slide or tray.
  • Place in a preheated oven 162°C (325°F).
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until firm.
  • Cool on wire rack.
