Ingredients:
- 500g Gingernut Biscuits
- 250g Butter
- 1 tin Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbs Gelatine
- 2 packets Flavoured Jello
Instructions:
- Place the biscuits in a food processor and mix until the are similar
to bred crumbs.
- Place in a large bowl and add melted butter mixing well.
- Press down in a slice tray lined with Go-Between.
- Place in the refrigerator to set.
- In a mixing bowl add cream cheese and condensed milk and mix until
smooth.
- Put the gelatine into the lemon juice and let disolve stirring occassionally.
- Add the lemon/gelatine mixture to the cream cheese mixture and mix
until well blended.
- Pour this over the biscuit base and level.
- Disolve the 2 packets of jello in 2 cups of hot water.
- Allow to sit and cool off before pouring over the cheese layer.
- Return to the refrigerator and allow to set before serving.
