Review:
The story of Pork is not just one narrative or story. But in fact
many intertwined within one book. The author cleverly has woven the
book so as to effortlessly lead from one encounter to the next. Giving
human emotions and intentions as a way of understanding how animals
intricate and survive.
I remember picking this up and thinking it would be some casual reading.
Something I could just grab when bored. But then as I delved into
the pages, I found it was such a harsh yet enchanting World that I
thoroughly enjoyed reading it right through.
True the World depicted is cruel and harsh. Yet how much so is our
own World in comparison. And how true to life the depiction of an
analogy it is to the human World we live in. I believe this is a good
read indeed.
