Going the Distance:
How to stay fit for a lifetime of ministry

Author: Peter Brain
Publisher: The GoodBook Co
Release Date: 2001
ISBN: 1876326735

Review: Going the Distance by Peter Brain is essentially a survival manual for those in the ministry. It covers a wide range of important topics that are important and really need serious consideration. The book covers such topics as physical, emotional and social issues. This is achieved through a range of considerations and creative solutions throughout the book.

There are three chapters (12, 13, 14) that are written for the congregation and to those who are in supportive roles. These chapters are also of benefit to the Minister as they help give a clear concept and understanding of what they might hope to expect from those who are in a supportive role to their ministry,

As a resource book, this is a great gift suggestion. Be sure to find a copy and give it to your Minister. They will be appreciative of the thought and encouragement.
